On August 5, 2016, ESPNLA 710 in partnership with Nike 3ON3, joined forces to benefit the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund at The V Foundation. ESPNLA 710 All-Star Celebrity Basketball Game was located at L.A. Live’s Microsoft Square at 777 Chick Hearn Court in the City of Los Angeles, California. Many came out to support the great cause. The fun event started at 7:00 p.m. and ended at 9:00 p.m. Kareem Rush (Former NFL Star for Lakers/Clippers) started off singing the National Anthem.

The Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund was established in honor of ESPN Sportscaster Stuart Scott. He passed away in January 4, 2015. Before he passed away he was involved in clinical trials for cancer research. The V Foundation raises funds to beat cancer. Raising money for this foundation will help research a cure for diseases such as this.

You had O’Shea Jackson Jr. painting his face green, for what reason, not sure. Robert Christopher Riley picks up an opponent from the ESPNLA team, flipped him upside down and swirled him around. The mascot for the Los Angeles RAMS came our throwing tee-shirts out to the audience. Slam Dunker in the World, Kenny Dobbs along with Gary Smith, puts on a halftime show dunking the basketball in the hoop while using O’shea Jackson Jr., as a prop. A dance contest with Lamorne Morris, Marcellus Wiley and #Trustinphil along with their partners from the audience was funny. Marcellus Wiley and his partner got the most claps and won the contest.

At the end of the game, ESPNLA 710 team was the winner and was presented an award. Overall, both teams are winners, because they contributed their time and efforts to raise money to help cancer victims.
