Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, Denis O’Hare, Reid Scott, John Early, Paul Hauser were only a few who walked the red carpet at the “Late Night” Los Angeles movie premiere at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles, California on May 30, 2019.
Amazon Original along with Director Nisha Ganatra presented the comedy film which will hit theaters nationwide on June 7, 2019.
Late Night is an American comedy – drama film which the plot follows the host of a late-night talk show who teams up with one of her staff writers to try to save the show.
The legendary talk-show host is played by Emma Thompson (Katherine Newbury). She is a pioneer in here field. She is the only woman to have a long-running program on late night. One day her ratings plummet and she is accused of being a “Woman who hates women”. She then hires a Writer Molly Patel played by Mindy Kaling on the team. Rumors started that Katherine may be replaced by a younger male host, she demands the writers to make her funny and relevant again. That is when Molly the Writer a lifelong fan, is determined to make things work.
The movie seems to be a funny comedy joyful ride, especially with a cast of talented actors and actress.
