Director Ric Roman Waugh gathered to celebrate a new film “Angel Has Fallen” coming to theaters near you. The red carpet event took place at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles, California on August 10, 2019. The film is presented by Lionsgate and Millennium Media.
An attempt to assassinate the U.S. President, Allan Trumbell, played by Morgan Freeman) has trusted Secret Service Agent, Mike Banning, played by Gerard Butler. Banning is wrongfully accused and taken into custody. He then escapes to find out who the real threat was to the President. Banning turns to allies to help clear his name, protect his family and keep the country safe.
The film is part of the fallen series which consists of Olympus Has Fallen and London has fallen which Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman and Ric Roman Waugh has been part of.
Other talents of the movie are Jada Pinkett Smith, Tim Blake Nelson, Piper Perabo, Nick Nolte and Danny Huston. They came out to support the film and walk the red carpet. Gerard Butler, Alan Siegel, Matt O’Toole, John Thompson, Les Weldon and Yariv Lerner produced the film. Story by Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt and based on characters created by Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt.
