Councilmember Gilbert Cedillo’s 6th Annual Latin Jazz & Music Festival Kick-off Party Celebration

The 6th Annual Latin Jazz & Music Festival will be celebrated October 5th and October 6th at the Sycamore Grove Park in the City of Los Angeles, California. On October 4, 2019, Councilmember Gilbert Cedillo celebrated a kick-off party to start the celebration. The event was held at the Cathedral High School located at the new performance facility in the Arts Complex John and Dorothy Shea Phantom Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

The private party was celebrated with invited guests. A variety of delicious foods and dessert was served while the people enjoy music performances by Rayvon Owen (American Idol’s Season 14th Finalist), Afro-Latin Combo Quitapenas, and La Santa Cecilia (Grammy Award Winner – Mexican-American Band).

Councilmember Gilbert Cedillo walked around and welcomed guests. A red carpet was set up for pictures to be taken with Mr. Cedillo and friends.

Now, that the celebration began, the weekend will bring more favorable bands such as Hola Youth Ensemble, Bravo High School Latin Jazz Band, Cold Duck, Little Willie G, Francisco Torres Latin Jazz Ensemble, Andy Vargas & Souleros, Boogaloo Assassins, Susie Hansen Latin Band, Las Chickas, Trish Toledo, Selenamos, Cava, Vilma Diaz Y La Sonora, and La Santa Cecilia.

The festival will bring excellent music, food and a great celebration of community. Vendors serving a variety of delicious food such as Burgers, Vegan, Mexican and even ice cream.
