Emmy Award-winning, Sheryl Lee Ralph hosted the 35th Anniversary of DIVAS Simply Singing! Raising Health Awareness Gala at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles, California on November 1, 2025.


The yearly event entertains excellent performances that are presented by The DIVA Foundation. In the past, performers have donated their time and talent to raise funds to benefit HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening health conditions.

This year The DVA Foundation honors the following:


The 2025 Honored Jewel Thais-Williams the Ivy Ralph Legend of Distinction Award.


Maya Green, MD, MPH, HIVMA, AAHIVS, FACHE the Wellness Warrior Award.


Reverend Debra Frazer- Howze received the Inaugural Debra Frazer-Howze Trailblazer Award.


Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis received the Legacy of Love Humanitarian Honor presented by AARP.


Lula Washington received the Artistic Activism Award.


Celebrity guests enjoyed a red-carpet entrances and performances from Andra Day, Jenifer Lewis, Loretta Devine, Mickey Guyton, James Pickens, Gina Taylor-Pickens, Freda Payne, Lalah Hathaway, India Shawn, Gina Yashere and Larry Owens.

The DIVA Foundation is a national non-profit charitable organization funded by Sheryl Lee Ralph pledging to the friends she lost to AIDS while originating her role in Dreamgirls on Broadway. She mobilizes resources, fight stigma, fund raise and delivers a message around awareness and prevention of transmission of HIV/AIDS.
