The “Bandit” film premiere took place at the Harmony Gold Theater in Los Angeles, California on September 21, 2022.

The movie is based on a true-life story of Gilbert Galvan Jr., which is also as at the Flying Bandit. Mr. Galvan escaped from the Michigan Prison in 1984 and crossed the border into Canada. There he robbed fifty-nine banks and jewelry stores. He is known to hold the record for the most robberies in Canadian history.
