On August 19, 2022, Harold and Carole Pump Foundation presented a gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
The foundation mission is to raise funds and create awareness for the treatment and cure of cancer. They engage the community and sports leaders. They also provide programs and services to help those affected by cancer.
Many people attend the gala party which help sponsor and assist with financial support which will allow the foundation to educate the community about cancer prevention and early detection.
When the foundation has a gathering, they honor people that give back to the community. This year’s honorees were Oscar De La Hoya (American Promoter and Former Professional Boxer), Ray Lewis (American Former Professional Football Player), Ozzie Smith (American Former Professional Baseball Player), Ken Goldin (Founder and Executive Chairman at Goldin), and Steve Madison.
The guests enjoyed a cocktail and silent auction along with a delicious dinner and program regarding the foundation.
