12th Annual Los Angeles Greek Film Festival features film “Smuggling Hendrix” and others.

Film festival month brings many featured films for movie fans to view and enjoy. The Los Angeles Greek Film Festivals comes to Los Angeles for the 12th year. One of the films presented on June 6, 2018 was “Smuggling Hendrix” directed by Marios Piperides. The red carpet premiere event was held at the Egyptian Theater located at 6712 Hollywood Blvd, in the City of Hollywood, California.

The film is about a musician name Yiannis who is about to leave Cyprus for a better life and his life turns upside down when his dog runs away across the buffer zone that separates “Greek South” from “Turkish North”. His plan is to smuggle his dog back.

The film has a great case, Adam Bousdoukos portrays Yiannis, Vicky Papadopoulou plays Kika, Ozgur Karadeniz plays Tuberk, Faith Al plays Hasan, and Toni Dimitriou plays Pambos.

A few Producers contributed to the film as well. Martin Hampel, Thanassis Karathanos, George Kiriakos, Kostas Lambropoulos, Janine Teerling as well as Marios Piperides.

There were quite of few attendees at the red carpet. Many supporters for all movies selected for the film festival came out to support the film festival. This night Smuggling Hendrix was one of the films presented. Nia Vardalos (Actress- My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Camila Banus (Actress - Days of Our Lives), Thaao Penghlis (Actor- Days of Our Lives), Leann Hunley (Actress- Days of Our Lives), David & Victoria Kait (Actor and Actress), Patricia Kara (Actress), Elena Evangelo (Actress / Director), Adoni Maropis (Actor), Christos Vasilopoulos (Actor), Victor Heliodor (Model / Actor), Mike Sakellarides (Radio Host - The Wave), Andreas Morfonios (Director of Jamaica) and Tyrone Dubios (Actor) were only a few talent who walked the red carpet and attended the wonderful event.

The guests, filmmakers, actors, actress, VIP guests and fans enjoyed a delicious glass of wine and enjoyed music before the film started.
