“A time for Heroes” 27th Annual Family Festival benefits children with AIDS.

On October 23, 2016, The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) brought together fun at the 27th Annual “A Time for Heroes” family festival which benefited AIDS in children worldwide. The event took placed at Smashbox Studios located at 8549 Higuera Street in the City of Culver City, California.

The festival started off with a red carpet welcome for celebrity guests. Around 11:30 a.m., celebrities began to arrive at the location. Mario Lopez (TV Personality), Andrea Navedo (Actress- Jane the Virgin), Gilles Marini (Actor), Garcelle Beauvais (Actress), Tia Mowry-Hardict (Actress), Tori Spelling (TV Personality), Heather & Terry Dubrow (TV Personalities), Jeffrey Nicholas Brown (Actor) & Jennifer Carta (Actress) were among those who attended the red carpet with their children.

Heidi Klum arrived with children guests. She didn’t walk the carpet, but enjoyed the event. Cute loveable young bloggers, Golfieri Twins and Royal Twins arrived with their parents. They did their adorable walk down the carpet.

The event was packed with many celebrity supports. Guests got to enjoy delicious food provided by AR Cucina, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Drago Centro & Dolce Forno Bakery, Meg Catering and many other vendors. Music artist, Laura Marano attended and performed, giving the guests good music to dance to. Gift bags of goodies were also given out to those who attended.

The well-known foundation is a global leader to fight for AIDS in children. EGPAF supports many children around the world. Many babies are infected with the HIV virus every day. Raising funds can help to treat and prevent the infection. Without treatment many babies do not reach a second birthday. The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation helps more than 25 million women worldwide to help prevent the transmission of HIV of their babies.

The day was beautiful in Southern California. Cool day with light clouds, but a perfect day to come out and celebrate for a great cause.
